Student laptops connect to Wifi
Learning does not stop at the doors to our buildings. Now, our students’ laptops automatically connect to the Wi-Fi at the following community partner locations:
- All Tacoma Public Library locations
- The Al Davies Boys and Girls Club
- The Milgard Family Eastside Boys and Girls Club
- Henry T. Schatz Boys and Girls Club
No action is required by students to connect to the Internet while on their district laptops at these public locations.
Safe walking routes
The City of Tacoma’s Safe Routes to School program created new walking route maps for all Tacoma Public Schools' elementary schools. Maps provide suggested walking routes, note routes that have sidewalks, and identify safety features along the way.
